The Master of Science (M.S.) in Athletic Training at Kean University is an entry-level athletic training program that encompasses prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions to minimize subsequent impairments and functional limitations. Our program prepares graduate students to deliver patient-centered healthcare utilizing the clinical decision-making and problem-solving processes necessary for quality health care delivery.
Graduates gain the knowledge and skills required to successfully work with other medical professionals to optimize the activity and wellness of patients and clients in sport, work and life. Kean's Athletic Training graduate program is a two-year, 57-credit course of study leading to a Master of Science in Athletic Training. It is a full time, cohort-based program.
